About

Hi. I'm Cadell. I built Printytron because I wanted to use it.

I have a 3D printer. Half the time, I'm in the middle of fixing or building something with my hands when I realise the printer could just make the part I need — a bracket, a knob, a clip, a small fitting that broke. The trouble is, by the time I'd modelled it in CAD I could have solved the problem another way. The printer should be the easy answer. So I built Printytron. Talk it. Print it.

Functional parts are what Printytron does best. Typography and novelty prints work too.

It's an independent project, and I care about it. I work on Printytron because I want it to be good. When you email me, you get me. Bugs I want to know about; I usually fix them. Feature requests I think about seriously; I'll either build them or tell you why I won't. Built with care, on its own timeline.

If you find this useful, that's the whole point.

Reach me at sayhi@printytron.com. I read everything.

Heads-up: Printytron is in alpha. Things will change.

⚠ Generated models are not engineering-validated. Do not use for structural, load-bearing, or safety-critical applications without independent expert verification. Always verify dimensional accuracy before printing functional parts.
